Immigration procedures
  • NON EU CITIZENS (WITH STUDENT VISAS ISSUED FOR 90 DAYS): Tarjeta de Identificación de Extranjero

    Submit the following documents at the Police Station on Calle Jose María Salaverría, 19:

    1. Passport with the student visa.
    2. Certificate of enrolñment for studies or research at TECNUN.
    3. Photograph (ID size).
    4. A certificate (called empadronamiento) from the City Hall (Ayuntamiento) that gives evidence that you are living living in San Sebastián or in nearby towns.
    5. Credit card

    Take the original documents together with a photocopy of each, to the Police Department. To make an appointment call: (+34) 943 449817.

  • STUDENTS FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION (STAYS LONGER THAN 3 MONTHS): Certificado de Registro Central de Extranjeros

    Submit the following documents at the Police Station on Calle Jose María Salaverría, 19:

    1. Identity Card or Passport issued by country of origin.
    2. Certificate of enrolment for studies or research at the University of Navarra.
    3. A bank statement that gves evidence of sufficient funds to cover housing and living expenses during the academic year at the University.
    4. Medical insurance to cover the whole study or research period (European Health Card).

    Take the original documents together with a photocopy of each, to the Police Department. To make an appointment call: (+34) 943 449817.

  • NON EU CITIZENS (WITH VISAS ISSUED FOR 180 DAYS):

    There are no special procedures to be followed, since no residency permits are issued for students holding this visa. Make sure you leave the country on or before the visa expiry date.
